After a perfect day on the water, retreat to "Hyclon Hallow," our premier KingFisher basecamp. We pair the rugged beauty of the river with top-of the line equipment, including premium tents, plush sleeping pads, and full dining setups to ensure your comfort in the wild.

Let our expert guides navigate you through exhilarating whitewater and serene canyons before they craft gourmet Dutch-oven meals by the fire. Beyond the adventure, KingFisher is dedicated to bringing the river to life, offering deep insights into the archaeological, geological, and natural wonders that define these ancient landscapes.

We will meet the night prior to your trip at a location of your choosing (dinner spots work well) to do a brief orientation for the trip. Here we will meet you, check in about some basics of the trip, answer any questions you may still have and provide you with a few dry bags in which to pack your things for the trip.

Meet at the KingFisher Boat house in North Fork, Idaho. You will leave your vehicles and hop on our bus for the half hour ride to the put in. When we arrive at the river we will do a safety briefing before loading on the boats to start the float. The first day will have the majority of the bigger rapids!

We will stop for lunch mid day, then continue on to our first night camp. When we arrive at camp the guides will set up the kitchen and assist the guests in picking tent spots and setting up their tents.

The first hour in camp if for set up and relaxation, followed by appetizers, and a multi course meal. After dinner we will stoke the campfire and enjoy the stars

On the morning of the second day we will wake up to the sound of river, the smell of fresh coffee and breakfast cooking. We will start the day with a relaxed morning before packing up camp and hitting the river mid morning.

Our second day will be filled with floating, relaxing, historical stops and side hikes. As on our first day, we will stop for a river side lunch and arrive in camp late afternoon for set up. We will have ourselves another night of good food and good company around the campfire before retiring to our tents.

We will enjoy the morning on the river with coffee and a cold breakfast before packing up and hitting the water a final time. We will arrive at the take out, have lunch and then load up on the bus for the 2 hour driver back to our home base and your car. We plan to arrive back at the cars around 3 pm.
