I loved being on a multi-day river trip with friends and family. The rafting was super fun, fishing too! The area is rich with history, from ancient pictographs to the cobalt and copper mines, plus Lewis and Clark sites. The food was nutritious and delicious. We enjoyed stunning scenery and abundant wildlife, from bald eagles to bighorn sheep, and hotsprings too! River's Fork Lodge provided the perfect riverside retreat each evening. Every day brought something new to discover. A truly unforgettable experience with KingFisher River Company!

If you’re considering KingFisher River Company…do it. Immediately. Don’t overthink it. Just book it and prepare to question every other life decision that wasn’t rafting-related. We took a crew of questionable decision-makers during a bachelor party and somehow came out as slightly more respectable humans (and significantly better rafters). From the moment we showed up, the guides were absolute pros—funny, laid-back, and somehow confident enough to trust us with paddles and basic instructions. The river itself was unreal—equal parts “this is beautiful and peaceful” and “WHY ARE WE YELLING AND LAUGHING AT THE SAME TIME??” The rapids hit just right—enough adrenaline to feel like heroes, but not enough to require writing apology letters to our families. Highlights include: Our guide putting us in great position for each part of rapid while still keeping us alive One guy who absolutely did NOT paddle but still claimed MVP Laughing so hard we forgot who was getting married Somehow staying mostly in the boat (big win) Everything was dialed in—gear, organization, and overall vibe. You can tell these folks know the river and genuinely love what they’re doing, which makes the whole experience that much better. Bottom line: Unbelievable trip, perfect bachelor party idea, and 10/10 would trust these guides again with our lives…and our least coordinated friend. We came for a river trip. We left with core memories, sore arms, and a group chat that will never die.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a trip on the main Salmon River in Idaho with King Fisher River Company, and it exceeded every expectation. We happen to get a rainy week, but Blake and the other guide Ellery, turned what could have been a challenging trip into an incredible experience. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and well cared for. Blake set up tarps to keep us dry, built fires to keep us warm, and never seem to stop looking for ways to make the trip more enjoyable for everyone. The food alone deserves five stars. While they were out in the rain, taking care of all of us, Blake and Ellery prepared an amazing riverside lunch! The breakfast and dinners at the lodge were absolutely outstanding. Every meal was delicious, thoughtfully, prepared, and far beyond what I expected on a river trip. What impressed me most was a genuine hospitality and attention to detail. Blake and Ellery worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every guest was comfortable, safe, and having a great time. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication were evident throughout the entire trip. I can’t say enough about how well we were taken care of. If you’re considering a Rafting Trip on the main salmon river, I highly recommend King Fisher River Company. It was an unforgettable experience, and I look forward to going again. My trip with Kingfisher was very fun, exciting and relaxing all in one trip! The guides were skilled, informative, fun to hang out with and took great care of us. The food was the surprise bonus for this trip, a five star food experience on the river and in the lodge! The accommodations at the Rivers Fork Lodge were perfect for our group, a comfortable and well equipped lodge, with a view of the river. I'm definitely coming back for another trip. Mike
